The Lord had blessed our congregation with growth and we were running out of space.
"So the preaching about God flourished, the number of the disciples… multiplied greatly" Acts 6:7
We bought houses around us for parking and for Sunday School rooms. We were landlocked and the door to staying at our old location seemed shut.
He "opens and no one will close, and closes and no one opens"
Revelation 3:7
We asked God to have someone offer to sell us land if it was His will for us to relocate. Within weeks we had an offer for one parcel, and then two. Our deacons toured potential properties.
"Go out from your land, your relatives, and your father's house to the land that I will show you." Genesis 12:1
Someone asked about the property on which we stand. Inquiries were made and an offer made.
"I will bring you to the land… and I will give it to you as a possession." Exodus 6:8
We did not know how to process a decision on relocation. By Divine appointment, we found the helper we needed.
"I will instruct you and show you the way to go" Psalms 32:8
The goal seemed out of reach. Yet the Lord provided in ways we had not imagined.
“See if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing for you without measure” Malachi 3:10
We needed a buyer for the old facility, and someone to put the beloved building to a worthy use. Before we even offered it for sale, Learning Tree contacted us.
Even before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24
The rule of thumb for a relocating church is that they can't replace all the space they have, but our space is increased in the first phase.
“The Lord answered me and put me in a spacious place.” Psalms 118:5
We have room to expand and room to grow - and room for more.
